Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Sift. By creating an account or using Sift you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Sift. By using Sift you confirm that you are. Sift is not available to anyone under 18.
2. The service
Sift lets you capture, monitor, organize, and analyze websites you choose, and generate design "skills" from them. We may change or discontinue features over time.
3. Your responsibility for captured URLs
You decide which URLs Sift captures. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to capture, store, and analyze the content at those URLs, and that doing so complies with the target site's terms, applicable copyright and database rights, and the law. Use Sift only for lawful personal and research purposes. Do not use it to infringe others' rights, to scrape sites that prohibit it, or to collect others' personal data unlawfully.
4. Acceptable use
- No illegal, infringing, or abusive activity.
- No attempts to breach security, access other users' data, or disrupt the service.
- No capturing of content you are not authorized to access.
5. Your content and our license
You retain ownership of the content and captures in your account. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process that content to provide the service (including sending page content to our AI sub-processors for analysis, as described in the Privacy Policy).
6. Takedowns
If you are a rights-holder and believe a capture stored in Sift infringes your rights, contact us at legal@sift.app and we will review and remove infringing content where appropriate. We may remove captures and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Third-party services
Sift integrates with third parties (e.g. Mobbin, and the providers listed in our Privacy Policy). Your use of those services is also subject to their terms.
8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
Sift is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for your use of content you capture.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms; the current version is 2026-05-25. The governing law and dispute-resolution venue will be specified here following legal review.
